This week it is our privilege to introduce you to one of the nicest, most down-to-earth guys that we know. Despite his mile-long resume and the extensive list of books that he has authored or co-authored, it’s his humble spirit that impresses us the most.
Meet Chip Bell
Chip is the author or co-author of twenty books, including several award-winners like Wired and Dangerous (with John Patterson), Magnetic Service (with Bilijack Bell), and Managers as Mentors (with Marshall Goldsmith). Although still enjoying the re-release excitement of the revised and expanded edition of Managers as Mentors, Chip is ahead of the game and planning to release The 9 1/2 Principles of Innovative Service (book #20) on August 20, 2013.

Upcoming Event:
If you haven’t guessed by now, one of Chip’s passions is mentoring. He loves hearing the stories of how mentors have made a positive impact in the lives of others. In fact, he wants to hear your story. All you have to do is buy a copy of the book and share your story and Chip will send a copy of Managers as Mentors to the person who made the most impact on you, along with a letter that highlights the difference they’ve made in your life. How’s that for a deal? There are a few things he needs from you before he sends the book, but you can read all about it on his blog. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to honor the mentors in your life!
Share Your Thoughts: Have you read any of Chip’s books? Which one was your favorite?
Carrie Koens joined the Weaving Influence team in May 2012 and has held a number of roles, including three years as the Book Launch Director (a title she stepped away from in June 2016 in order to focus on the needs of her growing family), and she currently serves the team as a Writer and Consultant. An INTJ with a penchant for culture, book stores, Parisian cafés, Indian curry, British mystery shows, and her passport, you can find her on Twitter @CGKoens.
The thing that impresses me most about Chip is his genuine and authentic nature. Spending time with him in person, as Becky and I did earlier this week, makes it clear that he writes from the heart and practices what he preaches!
