In our circle of thought leaders, authors, bloggers, and online influencers, we have connected with a host of talented folks. It doesn’t seem fair to keep them to ourselves, so we’ve decided to share them with you each Friday through guest posts, links, and interviews. If you know of an article or individual you believe is worth highlighting, send us an email and we’ll take a look!
For our very first Featured on Friday, we’ve decided to focus on a talented author, inspiring giver, and outstanding individual.
Meet Bill Treasurer
Bill is the author of Courage Goes to Work and Right Risk, and the creator of Courageous Leadership: A Program for Using Courage to Transform the Workplace. His newest release is the short, but inspirational leadership book, Leaders Open Doors. You know you’re in for a treat when you start the first chapter and discover that the whole idea for the book originated from Bill’s 5-year old son. Better still is the fact that Bill is donating one hundred percent of the royalties to organizations that open doors for people with special needs.
Where to Find Bill This Week:
The Center for Creative Leadership – Leading With Opportunity
The Human Capital Institute – He’s Great, But Enough About Steve Jobs Already
The Purposeful Culture Group: S. Chris Edmonds – Three Ways Leaders Open Doors
PRWeb – Esteemed Leadership Author Gives Back in More Ways Than One
Connect with Bill:
Visit his book site, learn more about his coaching business, follow him on Twitter, and connect on Facebook, Google+, and LinkedIn.
Upcoming Event:
On August 13, Bill is hosting the Leadership Opportunity Fest Blog Tour, giving people the opportunity to share their open-door stories. If you have a story that you want to tell, or a person you want to thank, simply write a blog post about it and send the link to Bill’s team between now and August 5. Learn more about it at the Giant Leap Consulting blog.

Oh sure, Bill is all “featured on Friady” now, but where was he when Becky needed an escort through the slums of San Francisco to her hotel? We didn’t see him opening any (hotel) doors then.
P.S. your auto correct keeps trying to change my name to “Karen.” Like Maren with a “K.”
Maren,
We’re never going to let Bill forget that, are we? 🙂 Sorry about the autocorrect.
Talk soon!
