Dr. Mary Lippitt is an award-winning author, speaker, and consultant. She founded Enterprise Management Ltd. in 1985 to provide leaders with practical and effective solutions to navigate a changing business climate. Known for her pioneering work linking leadership and goal achievement, Dr. Lippitt is recognized as a leader in executing change, leadership effectiveness, and strategic thinking.
Dr. Lippitt released her book Brilliant or Blunder: 6 Ways Leaders Navigate Uncertainty, Opportunity and Complexity in 2014, as an update to her 2004 book The Leadership Spectrum, which won the Bronze Award for the best business book from Foreword Magazine. She is a co-author with Ken Blanchard, Stephen Covey, and Brian Tracy of Discover Your Inner Strengths: Cutting Edge Growth Strategies from the Industry’s Leading Experts, published in 2009. Her newest title, Situational Mindsets, presents an entirely new model for reading the environment and offers practical tools to effectively address increasing complexity and change.
Dr. Lippitt’s work on leadership and change execution has been featured in Leader to Leader, Executive Excellence, The Journal of Business Strategy, Industry Week, and Sirius Radio. Dr. Lippitt currently teaches in the MBA program at the University of South Florida. Formerly, she taught at Georgetown University, George Washington University, St. Thomas University, and Florida International University.
