The Art of Supportive Confrontation: An Essential Element of Creative Conflict

Join the Interactive Discussion with Flip Brown

Virtually all of us have some particular sense of wanting to avoid conflict. After all, why should we initiate conversations that are just going to result in hard feelings or negativity? In this blend of best practices and participant engagement, we’ll look at the basics of “creative conflict.” We’ll discuss ways to deal with emotional reactivity (yours and theirs!), the best ways to frame challenging conversations, and when and where to set appropriate boundaries. We can’t guarantee that you’ll be thrilled about your next difficult situation, but we will provide you with real options for getting better outcomes when it’s time to address the principles and values at hand.
