Our designers will consult with you personally about the artistic vision you have for your cover, and create an interior design for your text that is cohesive.
Our typesetters have years of experience in traditional publishing, so your final book layout will be aesthetically pleasing, follow professional layout standards, and meet all of the technical specifications that are required by IngramSpark, Amazon KPD, or any other printer you choose to work with.
Our Book Production Services
Every step below is a standard part of our production process and integral part of ensuring your self-published book is optimized and professionally developed.
Cover and Interior Design
Your book’s designer will work on the cover design and interior design, matching your existing branding or offering suggestions for a new brand style.
Copyediting
We review your manuscript thoroughly ensuring accuracy in language, grammar, and verb tense and call out places where the wording or message may be unclear to the reader and offer suggestions. We are careful to preserve your voice and message and you have control in accepting or rejecting all recommendations.
Typesetting
The typesetting process involves importing your manuscript into a template customized to your design to create a visually appealing and readable book. The typesetter will apply fonts, adjust spacing, and choose the proper layout for each element so that the reader can seamlessly navigate your text.
Proofreading
We check the typeset pages for any typographical or grammatical errors and ensure all elements are formatted properly.
Indexing
If an index is required, we will complete this upon final approval of the proofread files.
Print-on-Demand Services: Ingramspark, KDP
We will support you in setting up your print-on-demand accounts through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, expertly navigating you through the important decisions about paper quality, trim size, royalties, and pricing.
Ebook conversion
Our ebook team will handle the conversion to .epub for distribution through KDP for Kindle or IngramSpark for expanded ebook distribution.
Support on securing ISBNs, copyright
We will guide you in obtaining ISBN numbers and registering your book for copyright.
Setting up your Author Central Account
We’ll guide you in setting up your Author Central Account, as well as the associated marketing needs, including A+ content, keywords and categories, and optimizing your book’s meta data.
