Book Marketing Strategy

Our Process

The book marketing strategy process is a multi-step approach that blends consultation and written guidance to ensure your launch is a success:

  • We start with three hours of consultation time, scheduled to fit your availability. During this time, we explore all launch possibilities and discuss strategic insights on the best way to market your book to reach your overarching goals.
  • We’ll develop a custom timeline and recommendations for your book marketing efforts.
  • We will then meet with you for an hour to deliver the timeline, provide additional resources, and answer your questions.
  • If you need support executing your strategy, we’ll use insights from the consultation to develop a custom book launch package.

Digital Marketing Strategy

Everything in marketing needs to start with a strategy. To grow your thought leadership and expand your work, you need a digital marketing approach that is customized to you. We’ll partner with you every step of the way and prioritize productive conversations to fully understand who you are and how we can help, ensuring you have the guidance needed to expand your digital footprint in the most effective ways.

Our Process

We complete a one-hour consultation call with you to evaluate your goals, audiences, and expectations while exploring possible channels, including:

  • Website
  • Email marketing and Substack
  • Content marketing, including blogs, videos, and podcasts
  • Organic social media
  • Social media advertising

Based on this consultation and further research, including an audit of your existing marketing channels, we’ll create a custom plan with next steps. This will include:

  • A channel planning guide that defines your recommended channels and identifies target audiences and key messages for each channel.
  • Recommendations around priority tactics and content formats.
  • Comprehensive best practices for all digital channels to increase engagement and conversions.
  • A tactics schedule to guide the ongoing management of your digital marketing.
We will then meet with you for an hour to deliver the plan, provide additional insights, and answer your questions. If you need support executing your digital marketing tactics, we can develop a custom marketing proposal using guidance from the strategy.

  • Brand Summary: This comprehensive document serves as a strategic positioning tool that articulates the current environment and existing need for a solution. It will include a book positioning overview, purpose statement, brand promise, and boilerplate. It will highlight your credentials and underscore the value proposition you offer.
  • Key Messages: Weaving Influence will craft up to five pivotal messages tailored for your book, encapsulating its core concepts for audiences and your book’s unique differentiators. These messages will underscore the inherent value of your approach.
